Jens Düppe is one of the most enterprising and creative drummers in Europe. He was winner of the WDR Radio Jazzpreis 2019.

Studying at Franz-Liszt Hochschule Weimar and Conservatorium voor Muziek in Amsterdam, he did not get only excellent graduations but the Ministry for culture of the Netherlands gave him a scholarship to spend time in New York City.
He works in many interdisciplinary projects as musician, composer, teacher and director.
In 2018 Jens Düppe was nominated for the German ECHO as best drummer / percussionist and one year later he was WINNER OF THE WDR RADIO JAZZPREIS 2019.
